photo Drop Known Issues

The following is a list of known issues with photo Drop. Items that appear with a strikethrough have been corrected.

  1. The 'rotate' feature will downsample the image slightly on save, resulting in a potentially lossy operation. This is a consequence of Apple's implementation of SIPS.
  2. Using the 'Resample to Max Dimension' function will scale an image up to a maximum size if the image is smaller than the value. This is a consequence of Apple's implementation of SIPS.
  3. Not all image formats will allow you to add meta data. In formats that don't support such tags, the respective fields will be disable in photo Drop. This is a consequence of differences in image formats.
  4. The creation date is overwritten with the current date due to Apple's implementation of SIPS.
